Spanish Dancer (Hexabranchus sanguineus)

These large nudibranchs swim by flexing the edges of their mantle in an undulating motion. The bright colours and whirling movements are reminiscent of the skirts in a flamenco dance, which earns them the name Spanish Dancer.
